Women are like Roses

I am in another stage of growth as an artist.

I am not sure where this will lead me to but I am enjoying the journey.

My newest painting is entitled
Women are like Roses.

We start off full of potential, dreams, and spunk,
nurtured by the hand of God,
as a gardener nurtures the bud.

The sun, weather, and time pass.
We gain experience in life that makes us beautiful,
We open our hearts and our minds,
We bloom.

Then, as we gracefully age,
We send forth such a beautiful fragrance,

and as the petals begin to fall,
we fade into a memory
cherished by all who knew our beauty.
